The Donna Jean Legacy

My mother, Donna Jean, battled Multiple Myeloma for 8 years. The medical system treated her cancer but abandoned her dignity. Finding a medically safe, culturally accurate, short wig was impossible during her oncology treatments.

The industry simply ignores Black and Brown women, as well as Trans folx. I transitioned from a Master Cosmetologist to a Certified Cranial Prosthesis Engineer to build the trauma-informed medical sanctuary she deserved.
